Laura Blank
|
Laura Blank, director & master choreographer Laura Blank is the director and master choreographer of InfernoDance. She has been choreographing professionally for more than 7 years. She is currently one of the coaches and choreographer for the Towson University Dance Team. She has helped this team win 4 out of their 9 National Titles! She has choreographed for many nationally recognized teams such as Penn State Lionettes, Boston University, George Mason Univesity, Linn-Mar High School, Archbishop Spalding High School, Parkland High School, and the list goes on! She has choreographed for UDA providing both high school and elite material. She also choreographs for dance studios all over the country providing anywhere from recital routines to large production competition pieces. She has been trained and now choreographs for jazz, hip hop, pom, kick, modern, prop, musical theatre, lyrical, tap, and ballet styles. Choreographing has been Laura’s passion for many years and she loves bringing her visions to life when working with such wonderful dancers! Taylor Walker |
Taylor Walker has worked with many different dance team/studios up and down the East coast. While training, she attending numerous prestigious dance studio competitions and conventions. She is happy to be helping these studios by bringing them very unique and exciting routines. She then spent 4 years with the 9 time National Champions Towson University Dance Team where she was captain for 2 years and stayed an extra year to assist with choreography. While in Baltimore she performed in the movie ‘Step Up’!! She is currently dancing with the New Jersey Nets Dancers and continues to provide top notch choreography. Marissa Montanez |
Marissa Montanez was trained at several studios in the state of Maryland including Elite Dance and Gymnastics, under the direction of Starpower Competition's Gary Pate, and the award winning Spotlight Studio of Dance, under the direction of Wyndee McGovern. Marissa has also been a member of the Howard County Ballet, a performance group based in Ellicott City Maryland, as well as JazzFusion, a pre-professional dance company. In 2002 Marissa, along with JazzFusion, performed at the prestigious Jazz Dance World Congress. Marissa received her undergraduate degree from Towson University, where she was a member and captain of the nine time National Champion Dance Team. Marissa has been teaching and choreographing for the last 7 years, and has worked with dancers all over the Mid-Atlantic Region. This past year, Marissa was given a position at the country wide "Wild Dance Intensive", along with a star studded faculty of choreographers and dance professionals, to educate young students about their options for a future in dance. Michael Gill |
Our head cheerleading choreographer at Inferno is Michael Gill. He is a former cheerleader and coach from Boise State University as well as a former coach at the University of Nevada in Reno, NV. He has also coached at several high schools in his time in Idaho, Nevada and Colorado, most recently at Boulder High School in Boulder, CO. Michael was also a Head Instructor for UCA’s summer instructional staff, a judge at dozens of UCA events including High School and All-Star Nationals for several years, in total working for the company for 10 years at camps and competitions in 17 different states before moving on. He has acted as a consultant for many high school, college and all-star teams throughout the country and is respected in the cheerleading community for his knowledge of various cheer styles and skills, excelling especially in his knowledge of stunts and pyramids. Michael also cheered professionally for the NBA’s Denver Nuggets Cheer and Stunt Team in 2005 and 2006, being one of the members of the team selected to travel to Mexico in 2006 to represent the NBA and the Nuggets as a performer at an NBA game in Monterrey, Mexico.
